Final remarks

Author: The Bell Outside the Besieged City

I would like to apologize to everyone before I start

  writing this post .

In the past month, since I became positive, I have basically updated once a day, and the update speed is too slow.

  I reflect on it.

On the one hand, it was because I was too busy during the Chinese New Year, and the new crown virus kept coming back and I was not in good health.

On the other hand, it was because I was preparing for the new book and had to communicate with the editor to revise the manuscript, which took up some time.

In short, the update in the past month was really too slow, sorry!

  Let’s talk about “The Villain”.

In fact, before writing this post, I had a lot to say.

I really want to talk about my experience in writing this book, some stories that happened when I was writing the book, and the changes in my own life.

But when I really typed the four words “Postscript”, I suddenly didn’t know where to start.

So the following content may be a bit random, I will just talk about whatever comes to my mind.

First is the ending of “The Villain”.

To be honest, the outline of “The Villain” only goes to the part where Wei Changtian repelled the four-nation coalition forces under the city of Fengyuan, and there is no outline after that.

Even the outline part that existed before has some deviations from the actual content.

There was no outline, and the map was too big and too fast in the later stage. I felt that I was a little unsure, so I decided to let the story quickly push to the end after destroying the two countries

of Qianhui. You may also feel the rush in this, as if there is something missing in the middle.

In fact, I also know what is missing.

It’s just that under the world structure of “The Big Villain”, my imagination of such a story has basically been written.

In other words, it’s not that I can’t write more, but that I can’t write anything new.

If I have to add content, it’s just to kill a few more emperors, marry a few more wives, destroy a few more sects, and let all the sons of heaven show up.

I don’t want to write repetitive content, so I quickly fill in the gaps and push it directly to the finale.

Oh, by the way, the truth about the world, the first-class shackles, and the endings of everyone including Wei Changtian have all been set long ago.

So even if more content is added, the ending will not change.

Secondly, let’s talk about the changes from the beginning to the end of “The Big Villain”.

If you follow it from the beginning to the end, many people may have a feeling.

The first half of this book is more like a refreshing article, but since Xiao Feng died, especially after the Yuanzhou City tragedy, it seems to have changed its style and is a bit depressing.

To be honest, this change has a lot to do with the outline.

Secondly, it may be that I attach too much importance to “logic” and “rationality”.

This should not be difficult to understand.

Many times, “refreshing” and “rationality” are difficult to reconcile, and even have a natural contradiction.

After all, it is impossible that the protagonist is the only smart person in the world, and everyone else is a fool.

And since others are not stupid, the protagonist’s behavior is often not refreshing.

So how to get an average between refreshing and reasonable is the question I think about the most in the process of writing “The Big Villain”, and I also think that the next book should be able to do better.

  As for some tragic designs.

How to say this, it depends on one’s own opinion.

Tragedy is indeed easier to sublimate the plot, pull emotions, and make people remember.

In many cases, tragedy is also more reasonable.

But at the same time, things like handing out knives are indeed easy to lose readers and attract criticism.

According to the original outline, many supporting characters will actually die.

But when I wrote those plots, I still thought I shouldn’t make things difficult for everyone.

  Indeed.

Life is not easy, and there is no need to make a novel so bitter and hateful.

But I also don’t want to leave a novel that everyone will forget after reading it.

So, if you have ever felt emotional, sighed, or been inspired when you read a certain chapter or a certain sentence, it means that I have at least written a little bit of what I want to write.

  About the results.

Compared with my first book, “The Villain” has increased by more than ten times in terms of income and various data.

The high subscription of Qidian is more than 10,000, and there are more than 800,000 readers on QQ Browser. I

really want to thank every reader!

For the next book, I want to try and see if I can go further.

Oh yes, here I want to mention the new book.

”Tang Ye” is still a fairy tale.

Like “The Villain”, there are no gods flying all over the sky, and it is more inclined to write “people”. Unlike

”The Villain”, it is a completely different creativity and worldview, and naturally a completely different story.

The structure will be smaller and more detailed.

The characters will be fuller (not literally).

The story will definitely be more clever.

”Tang Ye” has been released on Qidian.

If you are interested, you can collect it.

If you have the conditions, readers of QQ Browser and QQ Reader can also download Qidian and collect it for follow-up reading.

Because now Qidian books have to be synchronized on the free side when they are about 500,000 words, and the first 200,000 words on Qidian are also free.

More importantly, for Qidian books, the early follow-up reading data is really important.

  Thank you everyone!

Well, that’s about all I want to say.

”The Big Villain” has been written for a year and a half, and Wei Changtian’s story ends here.

To be honest, I feel a little lost.

I have only experienced this feeling when the book I followed was finished. I didn’t expect that one day I would become the person who drew the conclusion.

But it’s the same as what I said at the end of the text.

Every story has an ending, and every journey will eventually come to an end.

But the road is still long, and there will be new stories waiting for us.

Finally, if you see this, no matter who you are, what stage of life you are going through now, I hope your future journey will be smooth sailing.

If you feel tired, it doesn’t matter. You may as well stop and rest for a while, and then continue to move forward bravely.

Then let’s end this speech with the last sentence of the text.

”Everyone, thank you for your hard work along the way!”

  ”See you in another world!”

The clock outside the besieged city

Wei Tian transmigrated to a fantasy novel, and found out that he was the villain who was beaten up by the protagonist from beginning to end? ? ?

He has a powerful family background, but all he does is eat, drink, and have fun; he has a handsome face, but all he does is commit evil deeds; he has abundant cultivation resources, but all he does is waste them away… and he can’t even lie down properly, because the protagonist is about to come and steal his wife!

I used to want to be a good person, but now I really have no choice!
