The Wind and the Eagle Wings at Hogwarts — Chapter 124 124. Ms. Grey and the Room of Requirement

After lunch, Scott and his friends met Dylan and Kayla who were talking to each other in the corridor.

Dylan saw Scott and asked him, “Scott, you were looking for Ms. Gray last night, right?”

“Yes.” Scott stopped, “Did you see her?”

“She is in the garden in the atrium now!” Kayla said a little embarrassedly, “We were dating there just now.”

Eddie joked, “You two are together every day, do you still need a date?”

“It’s none of your business, Eddie!”

Kayla glared at him, and then asked Scott curiously, “What do you want to do with Ms. Gray? I don’t think it’s a good time to talk to her now. She doesn’t look in a good mood.”

“I just have a few questions to ask her. Thank you for telling me.” Scott said.

He handed the book in his hand to Eddie and asked him to help take it back to the dormitory, and walked to the atrium garden alone.

When he walked into the garden, he saw the tall Ms. Gray standing quietly by the flower bed, looking expressionlessly at the new buds growing on a shrub.

Just as Kayla said, she did look unhappy, exuding a cold and indifferent aura that kept people at a distance.

But Scott still walked over slowly.

Ms. Grey turned around slowly when she heard the footsteps.

“Are you here to see me?” Her tone was cold and impatient.

“Yes, Ms. Grey.” Scott said softly, “I’m sorry to bother you, but…”

He took another step closer.

“I want to tell you that I heard Medea’s music when I was in the potion class, and I was the only one who heard it.”

“Medea again.”

Ms. Grey’s eyes, which had been frozen like ice, softened a little.

She said in an imperative tone: “I warned Graves not to make more deals with her, and so should you.”

“Sorry.” Scott showed an uneasy look, “I was seduced by the music, which can enhance my magical activity and perception.”

Ms. Grey frowned and said loudly: “I warned you!”

“No, I didn’t trade with her.” Scott explained quickly, “But I talked to her.”

Ms. Grey’s expression eased a little, “What did she say to you?”

Scott whispered a general account of his conversation with Medea.

“… I didn’t expect you to be the daughter of Ravenclaw!”

Finally, he looked at Ms. Grey with excitement.

“No…”

Ms. Grey’s expression became very complicated.

“I…”

She paused and said angrily: “What are you excited about? I’m just the daughter of Ravenclaw! There is no comparison with the great Ravenclaw himself!”

Scott looked at her embarrassedly and at a loss.

He apologized incoherently, “Sorry… I’m just… I’m just a little excited… After all…”

He felt that he had used all his acting skills at this moment.

It was simply the peak of his acting skills.

“It seems that Medea will not give up. She is specifically trying to induce you.”

Ms. Grey calmed down.

“If she fails, her target will turn to other people!”

She floated and looked down at Scott.

“These days I have been investigating the oath that Medea signed with my mother.” She said.

Is the truth coming out? Scott thought.

“Maybe…” She said hesitantly, “Would you be willing to help cancel the oath?”

What?

Scott was a little dumbfounded.

But he held on.

“What do you mean?” He asked doubtfully.

Ms. Grey said: “The oath can be canceled, but only Hogwarts students can do it. Ghosts can’t do it, professors can’t do it, only students can do it.”

Can it be canceled?

Scott’s mind turned, and he asked her again: “If you want to cancel it, how to do it?”

“So, you are willing to help?” Ms. Grey asked.

“No…” Scott said, “I want to know what to do, and then I can decide.”

Ms. Grey was not angry, but nodded in agreement.

“Yes, rushing forward without knowing the situation is what Gryffindors do.” She said in a gentle tone, “You should certainly think it over carefully.”

She turned and floated towards the interior of the castle.

“Come with me.”

Scott followed her.

They climbed all the way up the stairs to the eighth floor and stood in a corridor.

On one side of the corridor was a blank wall, and on the other side was a tapestry of a troll beating a fool Barnabas with a stick.

This is…

Room of Requirement?

Scott knew that this was the entrance to the Room of Requirement, but he had never been there.

In the past, he had never needed to use this place, so there was no need to risk entering.

This was not a secret space that a young Muggle-born wizard should know. If he was discovered, he would not be able to explain it clearly.

After all, the principal’s office was also on the eighth floor.

At this time, Ms. Grey told him, “Walk back and forth three times, concentrate on reciting in your heart-‘Helena’s Study’.”

Scott looked at her with a puzzled look, nodded again, and began to do it.

After he silently recited “Helena’s study” and walked back and forth in the corridor three times, a brown door appeared on the blank wall.

Scott saw the eagle-shaped bronze door knocker on the door at a glance, which was almost exactly the same as the door knocker on the door of the Ravenclaw common room.

“How many years…”

The eagle head on the door knocker moved and opened its mouth to speak.

“… Welcome back, Helena.”

Scott looked back and saw that Ms. Grey was pursing her lips tightly and remained silent.

“Go in, Helena, it’s been too long, only you can open this door.”

The eagle head on the door knocker said another sentence and then stopped moving completely.

With a “click”, the door opened automatically.

Scott still looked at Ms. Grey.

After a while, Ms. Grey seemed to have recovered and floated into the door without saying a word.

Scott waited for a while before hearing her say, “Come in.”

Scott walked into the door curiously.

After closing the door, he first looked around and couldn’t help but admire it in his heart.

This is an extremely delicate and beautiful study room.

Several rows of neat bookshelves, comfortable chairs, colorful paintings on the walls, lace-edged curtains, everything in the room is full of girlish atmosphere.

Ms. Grey is floating beside the desk, looking up at the only portrait on the wall.

The beautiful girl in the painting is also looking down at her.

“You are finally here, Helena.” The girl in the painting blinked, she looked a little angry, “It has been too long!”

Ms. Grey did not speak.

The girl in the painting suddenly laughed triumphantly again, “Too long! Too long! You have become a ghost! The ghost is not Helena! Maybe now I am the real Helena!”

“Shut up, Helena!”

Ms. Grey said indifferently to herself in the painting.

“You are just a portrait.”

“What are you talking about!” The girl in the painting glared at her angrily, “Since you left, Mom has been talking to me! Compared to you, I am Mom’s good daughter!”

“Shut up!”

Ms. Grey scolded again.

“I didn’t come here to talk to you about this, Helena!”
