“Are you coming with us? Scott.”

Harry invites Scott, seemingly trying to drag him down.

“No.”

Scott shook his head quickly and decisively refused.

“Thank you for the invitation. I won’t go. After all, Hagrid and I are not familiar with each other.”

As the executioner who killed the whole family of Hagrid’s friends, it would have been too embarrassing for him to go to the funeral.

Saying goodbye to the trio, Scott continued walking towards the castle.

In the afternoon, Scott came to the ancient magic text classroom on time and knocked on a black wooden door inlaid with golden ancient magic text next to the bookshelf in the classroom.

“Please come in.”

A somewhat stiff voice came out, and Scott felt the magic wave becoming active on the door, and the door opened automatically.

“Good afternoon, Professor Babling.”

Scott walked into Professor Babling’s office and closed the door.

“You came.”

Professor Babling did not look up.

She was holding an extremely worn book in her hands and looking through it, while a white quill pen was writing quickly and automatically on the table.

The office was quiet except for the sound of Professor Babling turning the pages of the book and the sound of the quill scratching the surface of the parchment.

Although there is a large black clock with continuously rotating hands hanging on the wall behind Professor Babling, the movement of the hands is silent.

Professor Babling is a witch whose age is hard to tell.

Her hair is all gray, but there are only some wrinkles on her face. Her dark golden eyes are always particularly bright.

She was even more meticulous in her dressing than Professor McGonagall, and her hair was always combed into a neat bun.

Except during class time, her tone of voice was very stiff at other times.

It is said that no one has ever seen her smile.

Of course, neither did Scott.

Scott walked quietly to her desk and sat on a high stool.

“You should have read the book list I gave you last week, so you should have understood all the questions you asked last week.”

Professor Babuling was still focused on her own affairs and didn’t even look at him.

“Professor.” He handed the parchment to Professor Babbling, “Can you decipher this parchment?”

“Where did it come from?” she asked.

“This is an alchemist’s manuscript.” Professor Babling handed the parchment back, “It’s a bit difficult to decipher.”

This also means that she is not interested in this piece of paper.

Scott felt helpless and took the parchment back.

“Don’t take this kind of thing too seriously.”

Professor Babling said again.

She reached under the table and pulled out a large book and placed it in front of Scott.

“If you want to decipher it, this book can be loaned to you.”

Scott looked at the book.

It was an old book that was all black and looked a little dirty.

The original gilded font on the cover of the book has shown serious wear and tear, but Scott can still vaguely make out it – “Medieval Alchemical Terms”.

Scott picked up the book.

Then, he asked a few more questions about ancient magic texts. After getting a book list, he ended the day’s question time.

He returned to the common room of Ravenclaw House, sat on the sofa in front of the window, and opened the old book.

After flipping through it quickly, Scott understood the general content of the book.

“Want to go on an adventure secretly alone?”
