The Wind and the Eagle Wings at Hogwarts — Chapter 172 173. A failed arithmetic divination

Scott turned directly to face several Slytherin students who were sarcastic at him.

“Slytherin classmates, are you okay?”

There was a smile on his lips and he looked at them calmly.

“What does it have to do with you that we are chatting here?”

Among the people, a boy stood up and spoke with a somewhat stern look.

“That’s it.” Scott nodded, “I’m the one who disturbed you.”

After saying that, he stopped looking at them.

He had no interest in dealing with a few guys who only knew about yin and yang and didn’t dare to face him head-on.

He continued to say to Cedric and the others: “As I said, it is highly unlikely to be calculated based on your known conditions. Of course, if you want to try it, I have no objection.”

“Let’s give it a try.” Cedric said cautiously, “Can I?”

“sure.”

Scott nodded.

So they found an empty classroom.

The Slytherins wanted to follow, but were stopped by some senior Hufflepuff students.

“Doesn’t it matter?”

Scott glanced at the group of people confronting him behind and asked Cedric with a smile.

“It’s okay.” Cedric said with a smile, “We Hufflepuffs just don’t like to show off, but this time it’s different.”

Scott nodded in understanding.

“Speaking of which, the one that used to hide the most deeply was your Hufflepuff house.” He said jokingly.

Cedric laughed again, “No, we didn’t hide anything on purpose.”

“That’s right.” Scott also smiled.

There is always a saying in the wizarding world that “Hufflepuff House is a house that collects waste”, but the people of Hufflepuff never refute it.

Scott felt that if he really looked down on them because of this, he would be stupid.

Although Hufflepuff House does not have any all-powerful wizards on the surface, they are the most united and low-key among the four houses.

Among the current students at Hufflepuff House, on the surface, only Cedric is considered a relatively famous outstanding student.

But Scott knew very well that there were actually many outstanding students in Hufflepuff.

For example, whether it is the Transfiguration Club or the Charms Club that Scott joins, there is never a shortage of Hufflepuff students.

Although they never like to express themselves and their performance is quite satisfactory every time, they have never fallen behind in their studies.

The group of people came to the empty classroom, and Scott calmly completed an arithmetic divination.

As expected, he failed.

There were too few known conditions, and he couldn’t figure out the answer.

Faced with such a result, although the Hufflepuffs were very sorry, they also expressed their sincere thanks to Scott.

The sincere attitude of these guys made Scott a little embarrassed, and he even thought about not telling them the answer.

After all, he knew the whereabouts of the Hufflepuff Gold Cup in the “original book”, which was in the vault of the Lestrange family in Gringotts.

But he held back.

Although the divination this time was at the request of the Hufflepuffs, it was also Scott’s push.

If no one asked, he would be prepared to fail several times in public.

This is an act of patching.

He understood that because he was so happy after learning real arithmetic divination, he ended up acting a little too showy.

this is not good.

Scott hopes that this failure will make everyone understand that arithmetic divination is not omnipotent and even requires some harsh conditions.

In this way, he should be able to save a lot of trouble.

After all, he doesn’t want anyone to come to him for divination, nor does he want anyone with ulterior motives to covet his ability.

This was also the real reason why he didn’t stop the cynicism from those Slytherins.

He wished they would tell it everywhere so that more people would believe it.

After all, if those who have nothing to do with him, or even enemies, underestimate his ability, it will only be good for him.

When Scott and all the Hufflepuffs came to the Great Hall, lunch had already begun.

Scott found Fred and George mingling with several of his roommates, sitting at the long Ravenclaw table for dinner.

Among the Ravenclaws wearing “crowns”, the two red-haired heads stood out.

After Scott approached the long table, the Ravenclaws who were dining stopped what they were doing.

The next second, warm applause began to erupt.

Scott stopped immediately. Under everyone’s gaze, he had the urge to turn around and run away.

“Here comes the hero of Ravenclaw!”

“Let us welcome the heroes!”

Fred and George stood up and rushed over, dragging Scott to the long table.

The two pressed Scott’s shoulders and asked him to sit down, standing beside him and taking the lead in applauding and cheering.

Scott looked around for a week, looking at the expressions of everyone smiling and looking at him, feeling more and more embarrassed.

He stood up and bowed to everyone, then sat down again when the applause stopped.

He said helplessly, “I can’t stand it.”

“No, you deserve this, Scott.”

Eddie said with a smile.

“Perhaps all Ravenclaws should thank you.”

“Yes, you are now a Ravenclaw hero.”

Fred put on an air of trying to please.

“Great Fortune Teller Scott!”

George pretended to pat his shoulders.

“You two…” Scott couldn’t help but say to the twins, “I remember you are Gryffindor? Have you come up with any new ideas?”

Fred shouted in injustice, “Oh Merlin, we just want to send sincere congratulations to our best friend!”

George was still patting Scott’s shoulders, and followed up, “What bad intentions can we Weasley brothers have?”

Scott took the knife and fork handed over by Roger and glanced at them, “Do you think I believe it or not?”

The twins took their plates and sat on his left and right.

“We did come up with a good idea.” Fred said.

George nodded. “It will definitely make a lot of money.”

“Divination?” Scott asked directly.

“Yes.”

“You’re right.”

The twins said.

“I knew it.”

Scott was not surprised at all.

“Hey!” Fred said, “We have planned that we can open a Trollope Divination House. You only need to be responsible for divination, and leave the rest to us.”

George “diligently” put several chicken legs on Scott’s plate and brought him a glass of pumpkin juice.

“Yes.” He whispered, “We are at your service, Master Trollope, and we only need 30%.”

“Hey!”

Eddie, who was standing by, was immediately dissatisfied when he heard this.

“You are overstepping your bounds, Weasleys!”

He looked like his nose was about to be crooked with anger.

“Scott is my roommate, and I am the most suitable operator of the ‘Trollope Divination House’!”
