The Wind and the Eagle Wings at Hogwarts — Chapter 198 198. Second Lesson Milton's Troubles

Early the next morning, Scott came to Helena’s study again and started the second class of Professor Ravenclaw.

The day before, Ravenclaw gave a high-level introduction to the development of magic. The new course is to teach Scott to understand the modern magic system from a holistic perspective.

It’s hard to believe that Ravenclaw, who lived more than a thousand years ago, knew everything about modern magic.

You know, she preserved her consciousness in the portrait in a special state, and she only fully woke up the moment Helena opened the study door.

But in a short period of time, the founder of the academy, the famous legendary wizard, expanded his knowledge across thousands of years at an astonishing speed and updated his magical portrait.

Although the legendary wizard who has gone far enough on the road of magic and is in a better position can understand all knowledge by analogy, such a speed still makes Scott feel unreasonable.

What kind of learning speed is this?

How magical is this?

Is there a special learning method, similar to the enlightenment in novels?

If so, can I learn it?

And…for legendary wizards like the four founders, are their so-called deaths true deaths?

I always feel that if they don’t want to die, there really is a way to not die completely.

Scott began to have random thoughts in class and his mind wavered.

So he was severely criticized by Professor Ravenclaw.

She seemed to see through his thoughts and warned him to do what he was doing at whatever stage he was at.

“Ravenclaw children are active in thinking, but they are also prone to ambitious goals. I hope you understand that the path anyone takes is walked step by step.”

Scott quickly tightened his mind obediently.

He knew how rare it was to have a professor like Ravenclaw teach in person.

He is lucky enough.

Nearing noon, this systematic analysis course on modern magic came to an end.

Scott once again lamented that Professor Ravenclaw is the best teacher he has ever encountered, no one can compare with him!

Being able to condense complex knowledge into a short one-morning lecture with clear organization, concise language, and full of practical information is a skill that makes people admire.

Before leaving, Scott had a sudden idea and chatted with Ravenclaw about Savannah, whom he had met the day before.

The girl’s magic power was so strange that he was always curious about it.

“Is this so?”

Ravenclaw nodded after listening to Scott’s story.

“Of course I know what’s going on.”

Scott looked at her curiously.

“That girl practiced ancient magic.” Ravenclaw said. “This ancient magic originated from the ancient Druidism of the Celts. I didn’t expect that it is still passed down today.”

“That’s it!” Scott was not too surprised.

He already had some conjectures before this.

But he still had questions.

“Professor, where did such pure magic power come from? Is it not suitable for casting many spells?”

“That is the inheritance of the Druids. They advocate communication with nature. The more powerful the Druids are, the purer their magic power is.”

Ravenclaw said in a reminiscing tone.

“As far as I know, the specific practice methods are very complicated and need to be cultivated from an early age. It is meaningless for you to know.”

She looked at Scott.

“As for the second question, yes, druids have their own spell-casting system. Although they can cast all magic spells, the effect will be greatly reduced.”

Scott wanted to ask again for detailed information about the Druid spellcasting system, but Ravenclaw waved his hand directly.

“It’s time for you to leave, kid. I will cover this knowledge in subsequent lessons.”

Scott immediately swallowed the question he wanted to ask again.

Bowing to the Ravenclaw’s portrait, he left the Room of Requirement.

When Scott arrived at the auditorium, lunch had already begun.

He looked at the long Ravenclaw table and randomly found an empty seat to sit down.

Halfway through lunch, Milton, who had arrived late, sat next to Scott.

Scott didn’t notice it at first, but he soon discovered that something was wrong with his roommate’s mood.

“What’s wrong with you?” He turned around and asked.

Milton’s eyes were red, and he shook his head silently, just mechanically stuffing food into his mouth.

Scott frowned, knowing what must have happened.

You know, Milton hasn’t shown this sentimental look for a long time.

After lunch, Scott proactively suggested, “Would you like to go for a walk by the Black Lake?”

Milton nodded.

The two left the auditorium and slowly walked to the edge of the empty black lake.

Milton remained silent all the way.

Scott knelt down, picked up a few stones and started to float them in the water.

He didn’t take the initiative to ask Milton.

He knew that if Milton wanted to say something he would say it.

If you don’t want to talk, just take it easy with him.

Milton stood quietly on the shore, watching Scott drifting into the water.

After a while, he sat on a stone nearby.

“I received the letter. Dad is getting married.” He said softly.

“Well……”

Scott was stunned by his frivolous movements.

this problem……

He really didn’t know what to say.

“Before this, I always excused him unconsciously. I thought maybe Dad just lost himself for a while.”

Milton said self-deprecatingly.

“I fantasize that he will find my mother after he wakes up, and our family can be the same as before.”

Scott sighed silently and sat on another stone.

No one can say anything about such a problem.

Even Milton can’t stop his father from remarrying.

And to be honest, Scott always has a feeling of “finally coming” about this matter.

Milton said softly: “I have been thinking about how my father felt when he insisted on marrying my mother despite my grandfather’s opposition. When our family was excluded in my grandfather’s house, he vowed that he would never regret it…”

At this point, his voice choked.

“It’s so disappointing!” He cried, “I can’t even stick to the choice I insisted on at the beginning!”

Scott reached out and patted his shoulder.

At this point, saying these can only vent emotions.

“Look at the bright side, Milton.” Scott could only say from another angle, “At least your mother has escaped from the vortex she was trapped in and gained freedom.”

Milton nodded vigorously, “Fortunately, she has left. I hope she will never come back. I hope she can realize her dream when she was young…”

Scott retracted his hand and asked Milton again, “Do you know who Mr. Graves is marrying?”

“I know.” Milton said, “I told you. They have been together for a while, a pure-blooded widow, people call her Mrs. Zabini.”

“What?”

Scott’s eyes widened and the stone in his hand fell to the ground.
