The Wind and the Eagle Wings at Hogwarts — Chapter 246 246. First date

The next day, Scott called the Davis home phone number after dinner.

“Hello.”

After the call was connected, there was a female voice on the other side.

“Hello, Mrs. Davis, I’m Scott, Roger’s classmate.” Scott said into the phone.

Mrs. Davis’s voice soon sounded on the other end of the phone, calling out to Roger, “Roger! Your classmate is calling. It’s a boy named Scott!”

“I’m coming, Mom!”

Roger’s response was also loud enough for Scott on the other end of the phone to hear clearly.

“Scott?” Roger quickly answered the phone, “I just got up.”

“Good morning, Roger.” Scott said, “I remember your family should have subscribed to the Daily Prophet?”

“Yes, I was reading today’s newspaper just now!” Roger said.

“Is there any news about Peter Pettigrew in the newspaper?” Scott asked directly.

Roger laughed, “Haha, I knew this was what you wanted to ask!”

“It seems there is.” Scott also smiled.

“Yes! Because of the appearance of Peter Pettigrew, the Ministry of Magic announced that it would re-examine the case of a Death Eater named Black!” Roger recounted the news in the newspaper, “It is said that there are actually doubts about Black’s crime.”

“Is there going to be a retrial?” Scott knew what was going on.

It seems that Dumbledore has begun to exert his strength.

“It seems that you are very concerned about this incident.” Roger joked.

“Indeed, after all, I saw through Peter Pettigrew’s Animagus.” Scott said, “If there is any follow-up news about the retrial of the case, please call me and let me know.”

“No problem.” Roger agreed readily.

He continued enthusiastically: “This matter is already the most sensational news in the British wizarding world.”

“Black was originally thrown into Azkaban without trial. It was led by Barty Crouch, the then Director of the Department of Legal Enforcement, who was Fudge’s political enemy.”

Next, he lowered his voice.

“My father said that because Crouch’s son was a Death Eater, he lost the election when he was competing for the position of minister. Now he is the director of the Department of International Magical Exchange and Cooperation.”

Scott responded, “Fudge is likely to use Blake’s incident to further damage Crouch’s reputation.”

“That’s it,” Roger said, “but if Black is really wronged, Fudge has done a good thing, right?”

Scott agreed.

But at the same time, he also knew that Fudge would not take the initiative to do this. In fact, there must be reasons why Dumbledore and the others worked hard to promote it.

Then, Scott asked about Milton’s situation, and the two chatted about their summer vacation life.

After ending this call, Scott felt relieved.

He chose to expose Pettigrew because he also wanted to destroy the development of the “original”.

He didn’t want to face those dementors for the entire school year.

Pettigrew’s escape in the “original work” was partly coincidental, mainly because Lupine actually forgot to drink the wolfsbane potion and suddenly transformed into a werewolf, which gave Pettigrew an opportunity to take advantage of him.

This time, with Dumbledore and Snape watching together, there should be no such mistakes.

“Scott.”

At this time, Emilia came over.

“What’s wrong?” Scott turned around.

“Oh it’s all right.”

Amelia glanced at the phone in front of Scott, endured it, and couldn’t help but ask, “Were you calling that girl just now… Benita?”

Scott shook his head, “I was calling Roger just now to ask about things in the UK.”

“Then when will you call Benita?” Emilia blurted out, “My dear, you are a boy, you should take the initiative.”

“I know, I’m about to fight, Mom.” Scott replied helplessly.

“Very good, then I won’t disturb you!” Emilia turned around and left with a happy smile on her face.

Scott smiled and dialed the number Benita told him.

The phone was connected and Benita’s voice came, “Hello, this is Benita.”

“Hello, Benita,” Scott said.

“I knew it was you, Scott.” Benita said with a smile, “I’ve been waiting for your call!”

Scott and Benita made an appointment to meet on the phone.

Just when Scott was about to call a taxi to go out, the elusive Amelia appeared again.

“No need to call a car, dear, I have already arranged a car and driver for you. Your uncle sent you.”

She held a bouquet of bright red roses and handed it to Scott.

“Remember to bring a rose and give it to Benita when we meet.”

“…”

Scott reluctantly took the rose and took a car sponsored by Uncle Caleb to the Hernandez house to pick up Benita.

The girl wore a red dress today, but the makeup on her face was much more elegant than the night before.

She casually tucked her long blond hair behind her ears and smiled generously at Scott, “How do I look?”

“Very beautiful.” Scott complimented and handed her the bouquet of roses, “Your dress is more beautiful than the roses.”

Benita showed an expression of surprise and held the bouquet of flowers in both hands.

“Thank you.” She took the initiative to come up and kiss Scott’s face, “You look very handsome today too.”

Scott smiled and pulled her into the back seat of the car.

Since Scott was completely unfamiliar with Madrid, he asked Benita to choose the date location.

The girl didn’t hesitate and made up her mind quickly.

They took a car to a restaurant that Benita liked and tasted the Spanish specialties she recommended.

Paella, Madrid stew, tapas, cold tomato soup…

Benita knew all these Spanish dishes well and introduced their origins and methods to Scott in detail, which made him interested in these foods.

The dishes made by the restaurant chef were of course better than those made by Aunt Flora, and Scott enjoyed them very much.

Although the house elves at Hogwarts were very skilled, Scott had eaten British food for more than ten years, and now it was very fresh to change the taste.

Due to the hot weather, the two did not walk on the street after lunch, but took a car to El Capricho Park in the northeast of Madrid.

El Capricho Park was created and built by the Duchess of Alameda in the 18th century, and it combines three styles: French, British and Italian.

The park as a whole is like a maze, mysterious and romantic.

Of course, these are all what Benita introduced to Scott.

Scott felt that the park was much cooler than the streets of Salamanca.

Benita was obviously familiar with the architecture and artworks in the park, and she explained them to Scott enthusiastically.

Scott listened with a smile and discussed with her from time to time.

“Hey! Scott!”

Scott turned around when he heard someone calling his name.

When he saw his cousin Ramiro, he felt a little subtle.
