The Wind and the Eagle Wings at Hogwarts — Chapter 248 248. Asking the robbers about their purpose

“Is this a kidnapping?”

Scott put his hands in his pockets again.

“What is your purpose in kidnapping Ramiro?” he asked curiously.

“Take your hands out of your pocket!” The gun in the middle-aged man’s hand pressed hard against the back of Scott’s head.

“Tsk, be gentle.” Scott held the wand and raised his hand.

“Don’t be nervous.” He waved his wand seemingly casually, “Are you still afraid of a small stick?”

“Don’t move!” the man yelled loudly.

Ramiro said with some frustration: “I’m sorry, Scott, I didn’t expect to involve you.”

“Hmph, since he is your cousin, he should also be important in Caleb’s eyes, right?” Candela smiled proudly, “With you two, things will go much smoother.”

“So, what is going on?” Scott asked again, “Do you want the Hill family to pay a ransom?”

“Absolutely.” Candela smiled mysteriously without elaborating.

“Forget it.” Scott sighed, “I wanted to try to figure out what to say, but it’s not that easy.”

“Boy, have you watched too many silly Hollywood movies?”

The middle-aged man behind Scott laughed loudly.

“Do you think you can become a hero just because you have a gun?”

Candela said impatiently: “Stop talking nonsense, we must take them away immediately, otherwise the girl just now will call someone over.”

With that said, she moved her hands to Ramiro’s waist again, asking him to turn around and walk forward.

“Did you hear that? Let’s go!”

The middle-aged man hit Scott on the back of the head with his pistol again.

“I can’t stand it anymore,” Scott said, waving his wand again.

The next second, the plants on both sides of the “maze” suddenly moved.

Their branches grew wildly in an instant, like a group of snakes dancing wildly.

Before the two robbers could react, the branches had already tied them tightly and dragged them to the ground.

“you you you you……”

The two robbers seemed to be so frightened that they even forgot to struggle.

“You are the devil!”

Both looked at Scott in horror.

“It really hurts a little bit.”

Scott rubbed the back of his head.

“What a devil, I’m a wizard!”

He walked up to the middle-aged man and kicked him hard.

“Oh Scott!” Ramiro ran to Scott and said incoherently, “You…you you…you are a wizard?”

His voice broke when he spoke.

“Calm down, cousin.”

Scott reached out and patted his back hard.

“What’s going on with these two people?”

“Oh, this old woman is not Candela!” Ramiro said angrily.

“I know!” Scott said angrily, “I’m asking you what happened.”

Ramiro said to himself: “But I suspect that Candela is with them!”

He took a breath before telling what happened, “It was Candela who asked me to bring her here to play today, but we were separated for a while in the maze, Candela suddenly disappeared, and then this woman appeared.”

“In other words, they may have a companion hiding nearby?” Scott became wary again.

Ramiro swallowed and nodded.

“It’s really troublesome. I originally wanted to save some.” Scott sighed, took out a small glass bottle the size of a thumb from his pocket and handed it to Ramiro.

“Feed one of them some of this,” he said.

“This is this?” Ramiro looked at the small glass bottle in his hand curiously and shook half of the transparent potion.

“Veritaserum.” Scott said angrily, “I got it with great difficulty. You must use it sparingly. Three drops per person is enough.”

“Veritaserum?” Ramiro’s eyes widened in excitement.

He hurriedly knelt down and enthusiastically gave the woman medicine.

“Collapsed.”

Scott gave the man a coma spell.

Ramiro turned to look at Scott in amazement again, and then murmured while giving the woman medicine.

“One, two, three, three drops, that’s it.”

Scott saw him looking up at him and said helplessly: “You ask, she will only tell the truth now.”

“Veritaserum…is this really real?” Ramiro’s eyes lit up instantly.

Scott nodded affirmatively.

Ramiro coughed a few times excitedly, and asked the woman in a deep voice, “Tell me your purpose! And, where is Candela?”

The woman said in a daze, “Our purpose is to kidnap Ramiro Hill, the youngest son of the Hill family, in order to negotiate terms with Caleb Hill. Candela was knocked unconscious and thrown into the corner of the maze.”

“Oh, Candela is not the same as them!” Ramiro said happily.

Scott glanced at him and asked the woman, “What terms do you want to negotiate with Caleb?”

“Trace the whereabouts of an antique map,” the woman said.

It’s actually related to the Reis map!

Scott frowned.

“What antique map?” Ramiro was a little confused.

“We don’t know,” the woman replied, “We’re just following instructions.”

Scott narrowed his eyes and asked, “Who instigated you?”

The woman replied, “A man we don’t know.”

Scott thought clearly in an instant.

It seems that someone secretly hired these two desperadoes to test.

Perhaps the other party is not sure whether the Reis map is really in Hill’s house.

However, this is probably all the desperadoes know.

“When and where will you meet next time?” Scott asked again.

“No meeting was arranged.” The woman said, “The man said that if we find the whereabouts of the antique map, as long as I dye my hair red, he will know and pay us the balance.”

Scott cast a coma on the woman, and then used a spell to wake the man, and let Ramiro feed him three drops of truth serum.

He and Ramiro asked the same question again and got the same answer from the man.

After confirming that there would be no more gains, Scott hit the man with a coma again.

Then he waved his wand again, and the plants wrapped around the two people returned to their original state.

“What is going on?” Ramiro stood up in confusion, “Why didn’t I know that there was an antique map that people wanted in our family?”

Scott bent down to pick up three guns and handed one to Ramiro.

Then he stretched out his palm to Ramiro.

“What?” Ramiro asked, pretending to be ignorant.

“Veritaserum,” Scott said.

“Oh, dear cousin, can’t you give it to me?” Ramiro was very reluctant.

“No,” Scott said, “Everything about wizards must be kept secret, otherwise it will be a mess.”

Ramiro reluctantly put the small glass bottle in Scott’s hand, muttering, “Are all wizards so stingy? What’s wrong with sharing some magic with us?”

Scott put away the truth serum and said unhappily, “You’d better find a way to contact Uncle Caleb quickly, otherwise how can we deal with this?”

“Oh, right!” Ramiro glanced at the two people who were unconscious on the ground, took out a black mobile phone from his pocket and prepared to dial.

“Oh my God! They’re fine!”

At this moment, Benita ran over with the driver who drove them today, and they were followed by a group of staff from El Capricho Park.
