The Wind and the Eagle Wings at Hogwarts — Chapter 324 324. Before the execution begins

Time soon came to the day before the Christmas holiday, which was the day of execution.

After lunch, Harry found Scott again and talked about it.

“Hagrid wrote me a letter,” he said, holding up a piece of paper.

Scott glanced at the tear-stained letter in his hand and found that the fonts on the letter were blurred.

[The Council for the Control of Magical Creatures informed me that they plan to execute Buckbeak at sunset. There’s nothing you can do to help, so don’t come. I don’t want you to see a cruel scene. ]

“It’s time to take action.” Scott said, and at the same time he winked at Eddie beside him.

“Leave it to me.” Eddie smiled confidently, turned and left.

Scott said to Harry: “When Eddie passes the news to Slytherin, it’s up to you. Provoke little Malfoy as we agreed, so that he has to watch the execution.”

“No problem.” Harry smiled, “I’m pretty good at it.”

“I think so.” Scott also smiled.

After Harry left, Roger asked Scott curiously, “Are you really going to get involved in this? Or even ask Eddie to help?”

“Don’t worry, I’m just talking.” Scott said, “Dumbledore will be there when the time comes.”

Roger immediately understood what Scott meant. He patted Scott on the shoulder and said with a smile: “As expected of you, you are indeed cunning.”

He lowered his voice and said, “Although you promised them verbally, with Dumbledore present, it is not your turn to intervene.”

Scott smiled slightly and said nothing.

That was indeed his plan.

You can come up with ideas and watch, but he won’t play.

Because he knew that Dumbledore was there, he didn’t have to worry about what would happen to Harry and Hermione who were in charge of the operation.

After the afternoon classes, Scott and his roommates walked out of the castle and headed to Hagrid’s hut on the edge of the Forbidden Forest.

“Are you okay?”

Scott asked Milton, who looked a little pale.

Milton shook his head and pursed his lips in silence.

He chose to watch the execution on his own, so Scott said nothing more.

They soon arrived at the edge of the Forbidden Forest, which was some distance away from Hagrid’s hut. At this time, three distinct groups of people had gathered here.

First there were Harry, Ron, Hermione, the Weasley twins, Neville, and several Gryffindors, who were confronting a group of Slytherins headed by Malfoy.

In addition to them, there were also a group of guys who came to watch the fun because they heard the news that Eddie had specially sent out. Most of them were Hufflepuff students.

Scott and the others walked over and stood with the third group of people, watching the bickering between Harry and Malfoy at close range.

“I didn’t expect you would be so kind to inform me and let me enjoy the fruits of victory.” Malfoy was saying proudly with his chin raised, “What’s wrong, now you finally know who to show your kindness to?”

Harry said angrily: “You are wrong, I just want you to know what you did! I want you to see the blood with your own eyes, because your actions caused an innocent life to be brutally killed in your body before!”

Malfoy’s face turned a little pale when he heard this, but he still sneered and said, “Oh, don’t be stupid, Potter, I can’t be happy enough to see that beast being executed!”

His words were full of malice towards Harry, “Not only do I want to see that beast be executed, I also want to watch you and that stupid guy cry together.”

Harry seemed really angry. He clenched his fists and stared at Malfoy with hatred.

Malfoy was about to say something else, when the door to Hagrid’s cabin opened.

Dumbledore and Fudge walked out of the house first.

Following closely behind were two strange wizards.

One of them was very old. He looked much older than Dumbledore. He looked like an old withered tree.

The other was tall, with a sparse black beard on his lips, and a shiny ax in his hand.

“They are members of the Council for the Control of Magical Creatures.” Malfoy said in a showy tone. “Did you see that executioner with the axe? His name is Walton MacNeil. He is an old friend of my father’s. ”

“Oh, of course, a bloody executioner,” Harry said in a mocking tone, “He fits your dad’s profile perfectly.”

“How dare you!” Malfoy growled, as if he was about to jump up and fight Harry.

Harry also looked at him provocatively.

There was a tense situation between the two.

But as Dumbledore and Fudge approached, their companions quickly stopped them.

“Why are there so many students?” Scott heard Fudge say to Dumbledore with some dissatisfaction, “Oh, Dumbledore, this is not okay, these children can’t watch this.”

“Nothing is wrong, Mr. Minister,” Fred said boldly, “We won’t be afraid.”

“It’s not a matter of fear.” Fudge stepped closer.

Malfoy quickly stood up from the crowd and greeted the minister with some respect, “Hello, Mr. Minister.”

“Hello, Mr. Malfoy.”

Seeing Malfoy, Fudge immediately smiled kindly.

However, before Malfoy could say anything else, Fudge had already changed his target.

“Oh, how are you, Harry.” He took the initiative to greet Harry, “I didn’t expect you to be here too.”

Perhaps because he was not very good at hiding his emotions, Malfoy’s face immediately became a little ugly.

“Good afternoon, Mr. Minister.” Harry smiled politely.

“Take your friends back quickly, Harry.” Fudge said, “This is not suitable for you kids.”

When he said this, he obviously classified Malfoy as one of Harry’s friends.

Malfoy’s face suddenly became even uglier.

“Sir, we just want to give Buckbeak a ride.” Harry hurriedly said in a pleading tone, “Please.”

“This…” Fudge looked at Dumbledore hesitantly, “Albus, what do you think?”

Dumbledore, who had been silent just now, looked at the students at this time.

In front of the students, Dumbledore was obviously more majestic than the Minister of Magic, so under his gaze, no one spoke for a while.

“Stay away.” Dumbledore said, “Stand farther away, we won’t let you see bad pictures.”

Fudge nodded.

So the students began to retreat and stood farther away under Dumbledore’s instructions.

At this moment, the executioner holding the axe shouted to the hut: “The time is up, bring the mad beast out, Hagrid!”

“I want to feed it a little more!” Hagrid in the house responded loudly.

“The time is up!” The executioner urged again.

After a while, Hagrid finally led Buckbeak out of the hut.

“I’m coming.” He looked haggard and touched the feathers on Buckbeak’s neck with his hand, “We’re coming.”
