The Wind and the Eagle Wings at Hogwarts — Chapter 33 033. Shameless Lockhart Ms. Grey

Under the leadership of Professor Flitwick, Scott and his team returned to Ravenclaw Tower.

However, when they climbed the spiral staircase, they found Lockhart standing neatly outside the door of the common room.

“Oh! Shit!” Roger cursed in a low voice immediately.

“You’re back, Filius!”

Lockhart’s eyes sparkled as soon as he saw them, and he smiled brightly at Professor Flitwick.

“I feel the call of duty. I am needed here, a Defense Against the Dark Arts expert. You know, no one is better at dealing with this kind of thing than me! So I am waiting here in advance!”

He raised his chin proudly, as if waiting for Professor Flitwick’s help.

Professor Flitwick looked like he had stepped on a hot piece of dog shit.

Probably because of the accidents that happened to Ravenclaw students one after another in the past two days, the professor was in an extremely bad mood. He could no longer maintain his self-cultivation in the face of Lockhart, a nuisance.

“This is an internal matter within Ravenclaw House, Professor Lockhart.” Professor Flitwick said to Lockhart with a cold face, “I think I am the dean of this house, and Dumbledore also took this matter to the next level. Leave it to me!”

“Don’t say that, Filius.” Lockhart’s expression stiffened for a moment, and he grinned reluctantly, “Have you forgotten? I am also a Ravenclaw graduate.”

“Yes, you used to be.” Professor Flitwick raised his head and looked at him coldly, “But now you are no longer.”

Without waiting for Lockhart to say anything else, he continued: “Your help is not needed here, Lockhart. No one other than the students and dean of the house has ever entered the common room of Ravenclaw House!”

There was obviously a huge difference in height between the two wizards, but the tall Lockhart was overwhelmed by the outburst of momentum from the short Professor Flitwick.

He changed his mind almost immediately.

“Okay. You’re right, Filius. We can’t break the Ravenclaw tradition.”

In the crowd, Eddie gloated, “Madam Pomfrey went in yesterday.”

The students nearby who heard him muttered raised the corners of their mouths.

Lockhart was still trying to save his face.

“Of course, you must notify me if you need help! Please remember that a third-level medalist of the Order of Merlin and an honorary member of the Anti-Dark Arts Alliance is ready to serve you at any time!”

He bowed in a pretentious manner, and then left under Professor Flitwick’s increasingly annoyed gaze.

But when passing by Scott, he stopped and said something quickly.

“Oh, Trollope, you did a great job today, didn’t you? You stole the show in front of everyone. But I think you still have some room for improvement, and maybe you need the guidance of a senior person.”

“…”

Scott glanced at him in surprise. Lockhart’s pretentious expression changed, and he finally turned around and left completely.

Scott looked at his leaving back with indifferent eyes, and couldn’t help but marvel at his shamelessness.

“How dare he!” Roger said viciously, “He actually said that he was an expert in front of Professor Flitwick!”

“This is nothing. You must know that he did a lot of stupid things to impress people when he was a student.” Eddie was showing off the information he had found.

It’s a pity that no one is interested in Lockhart’s old news at this time.

Scott pushed his shoulder, “Let’s go, the door to the lounge is already open.”

“Okay, we’ll discuss this later.” Eddie shrugged regretfully.

After entering the common room, Professor Flitwick first found the ghost lady wandering in the common room library.

“Ms. Grey!” he greeted her politely.

“Filius?” Ms. Gray, who was originally facing the bookshelf, turned around and looked at Professor Flitwick and the students gathered together.

Her expression was cold, but there was a hint of curiosity in her eyes.

“What happened?” she asked indifferently.

“Oh, that’s right.” Professor Flitwick recounted what happened on the court.

“I know what you want to ask.” Ms. Gray shook her head, “I can tell you, no. No one outside the academy has entered here.”

Roger asked anxiously: “Then have you seen, I mean, who has entered our dormitory?”

“I don’t pay attention to the male students’ dormitory.” Ms. Gray looked at him coldly.

“Okay… okay.” Roger said weakly, “Thank you for your answer.”

“I’m going to continue reading.”

Ms. Gray turned and stared at the bookshelf again, as if she didn’t want to pay attention to them anymore.

“Okay, don’t disturb Ms. Gray anymore.”

Professor Flitwick said, waving to the other Ravenclaw students who had been following the group.

“Everyone else, please disperse.”

But the students stood still and didn’t move.

“Okay, okay, you can wait for the results here, but don’t all gather in Davis’s dormitory.” Professor Flitwick said helplessly.

“Davis, take me to your dormitory.” He waved to Roger.

“Please follow me, Professor.”

Roger took the lead up the stairs leading to the boys’ dormitory, with Professor Flitwick following behind him.

Scott and several of his roommates also followed. As for the members of the Quidditch team, Captain Bruce stopped the others and followed them.

Scott was the last one to walk. When he stepped onto the stairs, he turned his head and looked at Jacob in the crowd in the common room.

At this time, Jacob, who was standing alone in the corner, was also looking at him.

When their eyes met, Jacob quickly looked away.

Scott curled his lips and turned to walk up the stairs.

“Actually, I went back to the dormitory before going to the Quidditch field.” He said to others, “But I just put down my textbooks in a hurry and left. I didn’t find anything unusual.”

“In fact, everyone can think of it a long time ago.” Eddie muttered strangely, “The only people who can enter our dormitory should be Ravenclaw students.”

“Oh no, you can’t say that, Eddie.”

Milton’s expression was a little dazed, and he seemed to be completely unable to accept such a guess.

“Maybe… maybe someone else sneaked in and did this without Ms. Grey noticing. After all, the question of the eagle-shaped door knocker… is actually not very difficult.” When he said this, his face wrinkled into a ball, and he was obviously uncomfortable with this guess.

“Accept reality, Milton.” Eddie sighed in a mature manner.

Several people walked into the dormitory, and Professor Flitwick, under Roger’s guidance, began to check the rectangular wooden box where he kept his Quidditch supplies.

“It’s here, professor.” Roger said, “My Quidditch uniform, gauntlets and boots, and flying broom are usually placed in this box.”

Scott also walked closer.

He didn’t pay attention when he came back to put the textbooks away before, but he immediately found something unusual after careful perception.
