The Wind and the Eagle Wings at Hogwarts — Chapter 482 482. Conversation with Luna

“The current situation is a bit complicated…”

Scott was walking alone by the lake, holding the [Magic Mirror] and talking to Luna.

“…Because the Death Eaters are scattered everywhere, Dumbledore wants Voldemort to successfully integrate Harry’s blood into his body.”

He recounted everything that had happened recently.

Luna in the mirror is sitting alone on the dock by the black lake.

After Scott finished speaking, she blinked as if in a daze, and nodded after a while.

“So that’s it,” she said, “Harry became the savior because his mother sacrificed her life to protect him.”

At this point, she raised her eyes.

“His mother is so great, does Harry know about this?”

Scott shook his head, “Dumbledore told me this. I don’t know if he told Harry.”

Luna suddenly said: “Everyone has become lax recently.”

“What?” Scott asked.

Luna said: “Because the mysterious man has not appeared for a long time, and the newspapers have been promoting the victory of the Ministry of Magic, everyone thought that the darkness was about to completely dissipate.”

Scott said: “No, the dark forces are getting stronger.”

“I have reminded everyone before that the mysterious man has not failed yet, and we cannot let down our guard.” Luna smiled, “But some people became angry after hearing this.”

“Angry?” Scott raised his eyebrows.

Luna nodded slightly, “They think that I, like Professor Trelawney, like to use fabricated prophecies to spread panic.”

She seemed confused.

“I don’t understand why they are angry. With their wisdom, they can clearly see that I am not telling lies.”

“No, those people don’t lack wisdom, they just don’t want to face reality.”

Scott explained to her,

“They think that covering their eyes will make their fear disappear completely.”

“I don’t understand this psychology.” Luna said. “Sane people should know that escaping has no effect.”

“Stop trying to convince people, Luna.”

Scott said somewhat amusedly.

“It’s not that those people don’t understand the truth, nor do they lack wisdom, they just want to escape, or wait until the day when they can’t escape to face it.”

What he didn’t say was that for some people, Voldemort’s existence didn’t have much impact on them.

If the Wizarding War happened again, they could leave Hogwarts or even leave the UK.

So they can turn a blind eye to the current situation and don’t want to hear anyone talk about it.

Isn’t it like this in the “original book”? During the Battle of Hogwarts, a considerable number of students left early.

Even Gryffindor House had a handful of students leave.

“Then what should you do, Scott.” Luna suddenly asked him.

Scott looked puzzled.

Luna said: “I mean, if it is confirmed that Ms. Slytherin is hiding in Edin Castle, what will you do?”

“I will do it,” Scott said. “At the very least, I will disrupt her recovery and let her sleep for a while.”

Of course, it would be best to get rid of her.

Scott felt there was little hope of getting rid of Medea, but trouble was necessary.

He wants to buy himself more time.

He must venture to the Tower of Extension of the Earth’s Center to retrieve the [Heart of the Sacred Tree] and try to open a passage to Avalon.

“It will be very dangerous.” Luna said worriedly, “Will Professor Dumbledore help?”

“I think he will.”

Scott, who was still thinking about the tower extending from the center of the earth, said with a smile.

Luna said softly: “Do you have to go? I remember the summer solstice is June 21st, but the third round of the competition is June 24th.”

Scott was a little surprised.

How could Luna know what he was thinking through the [Magic Mirror]?

“Yes, I have to go.” Scott said, “Three days should be enough. In short, I will come back as soon as possible, but there is nothing I can do if I can’t make it.”

“Do the professors know about this?”

“Oh, of course I know, I talked to Dumbledore.”

Hearing what he said, although Luna was still a little worried, she did not persuade him to give up.

“Let me think about it. I will prepare some tools to prevent curses. Oh, my dad may be able to help…”

Scott thanked her and said goodbye.

Putting away the [Magic Mirror], Scott stretched.

That night, he received news from Dumbledore.

[I took the time to visit Edin Castle a few more times. The secret room where Ms. Slytherin was hiding should be deep in the dungeons of the castle. ]

[Of course, please don’t act easily, Scott, I will talk to you tomorrow. ]

After receiving the news, Scott immediately switched to the surveillance screen at Edin Castle.

Of course there were his “eyes” in the dungeon, but he didn’t see anything wrong before.

But unfortunately, it was already night at this time, and the dungeon deep underground in the castle was dark and nothing could be seen.

Then he looked at the place where the portraits of the Scottish kings were displayed.

It is still very quiet here, and none of the members of the witch guild nor the portrait of Medea has appeared recently.

He had been thinking about how he should act that night, and he was absent-minded in class the next day.

It was not until the afternoon that Scott received the news again and couldn’t wait to visit Dumbledore.

“Oh, Scott, have you thought about what to do.”

Dumbledore asked him with a smile.

“The reason why I sent you the news last night was to give you more time to think.”

“It would be nice if the honorable Ms. Slytherin could be given more time to rest,” Scott said.

Dumbledore served him a cup of unsweetened black tea, “Choose the most likely goal?”

Scott nodded, “Even Voldemort can’t kill her, and I probably can’t either.”

Dumbledore looked at him and asked, “You want to do it yourself?”

“I won’t take any chances, Professor.”

Scott laughed and pulled an ugly little lizard out of his pocket.

“This is Golzan. He has the ability to travel underground. I wonder if it will be useful.”

Dumbledore looked at the finger-sized miniature Komodo dragon in his hand and shook his head.

“I have to tell you, Scott, the chamber is very difficult to break into from the outside,” he said.

Scott expected this too.

“Since Medea chose to ‘cultivate’ there, it means that it was a ‘safe house’ she built for herself.”

He put the little lizard in his hand back into his pocket and looked at Dumbledore.

“Do you have any suggestions, Professor?”

Dumbledore clapped his hands.

With a clear and sweet chirp, Phoenix Fox suddenly appeared in the room singing a song.

It flew gracefully in a circle.

“Oh, Professor, has it grown again?”

Scott looked up at this proud and beautiful bird.

He still remembered that Phoenix Fawkes had achieved nirvana in the Quidditch World Cup finals last summer.

“Come on, Scott, it’s just the right time.”

Dumbledore stood up and grabbed Fawkes’ tail feathers with his hands.

“At this time, there are no Muggle tourists there. I will accompany you to Edin Castle now.”

Today there are only 2,000.

Okay, the two leave requests have been used up.

This month’s lazy share has been used up.

Normal updates will resume from tomorrow.
